Jim Hopper



Jim Hopper's (played by David Harbour) first appearance was in season one, episode one,
the day Will went missing. He is the recent boyfriend of Joyce Byers. He has a daugher named
Sarah Hopper that passed away due to cancer. His new daughter (Eleven) was adopted at the
end of season two. He is the chief of Hawkins

In season one, Hopper helps Joyce Byers find her son. He's looking for Will but is chasing
after Eleven the whole time. He works with officer Callahan and officer Powell.

In season two, Hopper takes care of Eleven in his cabin where he's also hiding her from the lab.
He gets information that pumpkins are rotting, so he goes investigate and finds the tunnels in the Upside Down.

In season three, Hopper is mad that Eleven and Mike are spending too much time with each other,
so he yells at Mike and that gets him to have his daughter alone like he wanted. he gets chased by Russians
and he tries to figure out why they are opening another gate with the help of Joyce and Murray.

In season four, Hopper is in Russia, held captive by the Soviets in an apparent Gulag—or forced labor camp.
he runs away just to be caught and thrown back into a cell. He reunited with Joyce and Murray, and helps the
kids fight the monsters of the Upside Down from the prison in Alaska.
