Barbara's (played by Shannon Purser) first appearance was in season one, episode one,
the day Will went missing. Her mom and dad are marsha Holland and Mr. Holland. Her bestfriend was Nancy
until she was taken and killed by the Demogorgon.

In season one, Barbara is best friends with Nancy Wheeler. She doesn't
like the idea of going to the party at Steve's and feels like he just wants to get into
Nancy's pants. She gets killed by The Demogorgon at Steve's house and Nancy
spends the rest of the season looking for her.
